Volunteers
he Zoo Lake Users Committee is a voluntary organisation dedicated to restore and develop the Zoo Lake Park. With 46,6 hectares to attend to, there is a lot of ground to cover. The health and development of the park depends upon the volunteers who help us throughout the year with gardening, looking after the trees, tending to lawns and pathways, and so much more. Contact us about the different ways in which you can join the team. We are always looking for passionate volunteers to fill a variety of roles.

The garden group works on rehabilitating and maintaining the various gardens in the Park. Each garden is allocated to a separate gardener and there is a lot of fun and friendly competition between the gardeners for the best show.
